Pamela Denise Gibson

A memorial and celebration of life for Pamela Denise Gibson will be held 12 noon Friday, December 21, 2018, at Trinity AME Zion Church, Southern Pines, North Carolina. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home, Southern Pines.

Pamela Denise Gibson was born May 10, 1960, to James and Maybell Slone. She was called home on December 13, 2018.

Pam was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey where she married and moved to Chapel Hill, NC. She later settled in Eastwood, NC, where she worked as a CNA for many years. Pam was a great mother and friend to all.

She leaves to cherish her memories; two sons, Omar Bynum, and James Gibson; one daughter, Dominique Murray; three grandchildren, Na’tori Murray, Lynwood Cain, and Shamar Bynum; two brothers, Darrly Young, and Walter Young; one sister, Karleen Freeland; four nieces, Latonya Young, Clera Young, Nikia Barber and Dasani Barber; and many others that called her “Ma”.
