Richard Prior Orman, 79 of Southern Pines, North Carolina formally of Geneseo, New York died peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2020.

Dick was born at home on September 7, 1940, in Avon, New York to the late Ethel and Clarence Orman, Sr. He was the third of six children.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Collen; son, Steven (Carrie); daughter, Amanda Mothersell (Doug); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Orman (Linda); sister, Cheryl Orman Owenby (Randy); and several cherished nieces and nephews.

A memorial and celebration of life will be held at a future date.
