Pendours H. Adams

Pendours H. Adams, 81, of Sanford departed this life on December 17, 2024. Family will greet friends for fellowship from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, at The Douglass Community Center follow by a service to celebrate and honor her life at 2:00 p.m. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services. 

Pendours (Penny) Adams is the daughter of Abraham Hailey and Azze Lee Hailey.  Mother of Michael Mckay and Nathaniel Mckay (Michelle Cucco).  The sister of Barbara Hailey and Thomasenia Hailey.  Aunt of Azalea (Noble), Tonya Johnson (Norris), and Maurice Hailey.  Grandmother of Teniia, Ebony (Chenelle), Javaius, Breanna, Shen, Kayla, Devyn, and Layten. Great grandmother of nine (9).  Also, many other family members and close friends. 

Penny was an amazing mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend.  She has never met a stranger and always knew how to make someone feel comfortable.  She had a heart of gold and a smile that could brighten up any room.  She loved her family down to the last minute.  She enjoyed spending time making memories, laughing with family, relaxing at the beach, and watching movies.
