Mother Myrtle Cox, 91, of Hamlet, departed this life on Thursday, August 10, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at New Hope Baptist Church Hamlet, NC. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at New Hope Baptist Church. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
