Mother Betty Joe Blue

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mother Betty Blue, 74, of Gibson, who accepted her Master’s call on Friday, January 27, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Fletcher Grove Baptist Church, Laurinburg. Interment will follow in the Laurinburg Memorial Park. A viewing and visitation will be held at from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023, at the Kenneth M. Purcell Memorial Chapel. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
