Mary Elizabeth DeBerry Sams, 82, of Laurinburg departed this life on May 5, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Union Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Laurinburg Memorial Park. A viewing and visitation will be held from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Purcell Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
