Larry Headen, 61, of Bronx/ Mt. Vernon departed this life on August 14, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Spaulding Chapel AME Zion Church, Taylortown. Interment will follow in the Academy Height Memorial Cemetery. A viewing and visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at Purcell Funeral Home, Southern Pines. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
