James Patterson, 81, of Laurinburg departed this life on April 28, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Bright Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Hillside Memorial Park. A viewing and visitation will be held from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2025, at Purcell Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
