James A. Bethea, 77, of Laurinburg departed this life on June 6, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Kenneth M. Purcell Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Hillside Memorial Park. A viewing and visitation will be held from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Purcell Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
