James A. Alford, Jr., 67 of Fayetteville formerly of Maxton departed this life on June 26, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2026, at The Kenneth M. Purcell Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Hillside Memorial Park. A viewing and visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
