James A. Williams, 85, of Gibson departed this life on March 4, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Green Lake AME Zion Church. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Cemetery, Gibson. A viewing will be held from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Purcell Funeral Home, Laurinburg. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
