General Dougals Manning, 71, of Durham formerly of Laurinburg departed this life on January 12, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at The Kenneth M. Purcell Memorial Chapel. A viewing and visitation will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Hillside Memorial Park. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral & Cremation Services.
