Evangelist Odessa Smith, 97, of Laurinburg departed this life on Friday, June 28, 2024. A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. at First Thessalonian Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Hillside Memorial Park. A wake will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2024, at Purcell Funeral Home, Laurinburg. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
