Earl Darnell Moses was born on October 17, 1961, as a native of Aberdeen, North Carolina to the late Francis James Moses, Sr. of Southern Pines, NC and Vera Mae Moses of Pinehurst, NC. Earl was a 1980 graduate of Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, NC. He graduated from Shaw University with a B.A. in Liberal Arts, and minors in Religion & Philosophy in 1999. In 2000, he achieved his Masters in Child Psychology and December 2015 he received his Doctorate of Divinity from Hood Theology Seminary in Salisbury, NC.

Earl gave his life to the Lord at an early age while attending prayer band, going from house to house, with his Godmother, Mother Sallie Scott Gore. He answered to the call of the Lord for ministry in 1981, at the St. John Holiness Church of God, Inc. and preached his initial sermon. He was ordained an Elder in the Holiness Church of God under the leadership of the late Bishop Melvin A. Charley. During his years of service, he was appointed to serve as District Ruling Elder of the Southeastern District of the Holiness Church of God. He founded and Pastored the Antioch H.C.O.G., Inc. located in West End, North Carolina until the Lord moved him to new territories.

Dr. Moses joined the N.F.C.C. Organization where he was later appointed as the Superintendent of the Southeastern District by the late Bishop Monk of New York. Then he was affiliated with the A.M.E Zion Church for many years. He preached all over the Southern lands, running revivals and working hard. Earl often shared stories in his messages of his hard-working life growing up. Working in the tobacco and cotton fields, with his brother, and working two and three jobs to meet his responsibilities. He thought he would be a famous basketball star since he played well in school but life has twists and turns. His great love as a child was in Mortuary Science. He was known in the neighborhood for conducting funeral services for the neighbor's pets. That continued throughout his life and ultimately his desire was to one day open a Funeral Service of his own.

Dr. Earl Moses reacquainted himself with a childhood associate (Min. Jacqueline Grant) in the Holiness Church of God in 2014. The two were ordained together in the General Assembly by her father at the Headquarter Church in Winston Salem, NC. Their friendship turned into a relationship and shortly they united in Holy Matrimony, January 9, 2015. Dr. Moses relocated to the Big Apple, NYC, and joined the Mt. Horeb Holiness Church, Bronx, NY, where his new wife is the pastor. Since church was his life and he loved the Lord, he gladly served in any capacity that opened to receive him. He sang on the choir, led worship and praise, taught Sunday School, Bible Study, mentored the brothers and most of all, he loved to preach. He often said, “I don’t preach to live, I live to preach!”. And he did preach strong, always inserting his own personal experiences that God allowed him to go through. He was just recently appointed as Ruling Elder of the Northern Area of the Northeastern District, New York & Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Moses loved his cellphone which kept him connected to the world, his family and friends, especially in North Carolina. He raised early in the morning to post scripture and closed the evening with an inspirational word. His followers praised him and the accolades gave him life. From the Word of God to his style of fashion, he tried never to disappoint those that love to follow him. Dr. Moses was living his best life.
