Dashon Aaron Smith, 34, of Maxton departed this life on December 27, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 4, 2025, at St. Matthews A.M.E. Zion Church, Maxton. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. A viewing and visitation will be held from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025, at Purcell Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
