Carl E. Monroe, 77, of Lithonia, GA formerly of Scotland County departed this life on May 7, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Cool Springs United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Park. A wake will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2024, at Purcell Funeral Home, Laurinburg. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
