Alfonso V. Parker, 73, of Red Springs, departed this life on September 9, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p. m. Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Cape Fear Conference B Headquarters, Raeford. Interment will follow in the Freedom Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery. A viewing and visitation will be held from 2:00 until 5:00 p. m. Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Purcell Funeral Home, Laurinburg. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
