Yolanda Carter

Yolanda Ann Carter was born March 31, 1982, to Hazel Carter and the late Edward Williams, in Moore County, North Carolina. She departed this life on June 2, 2017, at First Health Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Yolanda grew up her earlier years in Aberdeen and Hamlet North Carolina. Yolanda in her healthier years, attended church at Holly Grove Church in Rockingham, North Carolina. She was loved by everybody she ever met. Yolanda had a spirit that was of pure innocent and unforgettable. For 17 years, she was a very sick young lady.  God decided to let her rest.  We had a chance to have a great person in our lives.  We will always love and remember (Londa D).

Yolanda was preceded in death by her father, Edward Williams, grandma Lydia, Pop, Lucille Williams, and Edward Leo Williams.

Yolanda is survived by:  mother, Hazel Ann Carter; two brothers, Edward Carter and Waddrel Carter; two sisters, Anna Lyles (Richard) of Aberdeen, NC and Candace Meshea Williams of Siler City, NC; four aunts, Betty Ingram of Jackson Springs, NC; Lyida Carter of Pinebluff, NC; Evonne and Sharon of Southern Pines, NC and Sheila Carter of Candor, NC; six uncles; Otis Carter of Asheboro, NC; Gary Carter of Hamlet, NC; Johnny Ingram of Jackson Springs, NC, Woodrow Williams of Cameron Village, NC, Larry Williams of Southern Pines, NC, and Wayne Williams of Southern Pines, NC; two nieces; Kalissa Carter and Maleka; two nephews, Latrel Carter and Jawarior; and all of her cousins, other relatives and friends.
