Lewis Junior Pratt

Mr. Lewis Junior Pratt was born to the late Jonas Pratt and mother, Mae Della Pratt on August 18, 1956.  He departed his life at Morrison Manor on July 7, 2017.

Mr. Lewis Junior Pratt was educated at Scotland County Schools.  He was employed at House of Raeford in Raeford, NC for many years until retirement.  He was also known for concrete masonry work which was a passion of his.

Mr. Lewis Junior Pratt was known for his calmest about himself.  He was not a big talker but always kept a smile on his face.  He was not a complainer and he took life as it was given to him.  He loved his children and mother with a passion.  When you would ask him how he was he would say “I AM ALRIGHT” no matter how he was feeling.  He was loved by many and will miss him for his cool, calm and very collective personality he had.

Mr. Lewis Junior Pratt leaves to cherish his memories:  his wonderful mother, Mae Della Pratt of the home; one daughter, Charlene (Roland) Mouzon of Laurinburg, NC; two sons, Lewis Junior (Clarissa) Pratt II of Raeford, NC and Jack (Lasha) Pratt of Laurinburg, NC; seven granddaughters, Jazzmine Pratt of Durham, NC, Jamiyah and Deziyah Pratt of Raeford, NC, Amari Mouzon, Shaleeah and Arieyana Pratt of Laurinburg, NC and Kiana Covington of Florida; three grandsons, Jaquez and Jahiem Pratt of Raeford, NC and Collyn Pratt of Laurinburg, NC; four brothers, Bernard, Jerome, Joelee and Wilbert (Phyllis) Pratt all of Laurinburg, NC; two sisters, Pastor Benjamin (Larry) Johnson of Vass, NC and Ruby Lee (Renzer) Williams of Laurinburg, NC; two aunts, Louise Monroe and Thelma Hunt of Laurinburg, NC; one uncle, John Wesley Monroe of New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.  Also two special friends, Pete Shaw and Christopher Spencer.
