James Franklin McLean

James Franklin McLean was born August 8, 1957 to the late Walter and Carletha McLean.

James attended Scotland County Schools.  He was employed by Forest Creek Golf Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

James was preceded in death by his parents and also his brother, Vernell McLean. 

James leaves to cherish his memory:  wife, Wanda B. McLean of the home; four children, Damon McKenzie of Raeford, stepson, Sandy Blue (Kizzy) of Laurinburg, Erica McKenzie of Southern Pines, and stepdaughter, Brittany B. Powell (Maniey) of Laurinburg; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Tyson and Carthina McLean; four brothers, Kenny McLean, Gary McLean, Clarence Gates (Denise), and Stan McMillan; special niece, Connie McLean; two sisters-in-law, Elouise Fordie’ (Joseph) of Charlotte, and Gladys McLean of Maxton; four brothers-in-law, Clifton Blue (Louvenia) of Gibson, Samuel Blue of Winston-Salem, Ulysses Blue of Laurinburg, and Hubert McLean (Frances) of Gibson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
