Hubert Snap Huntley

Hubert Huntley son of the late Joe and Gladys Bethea Huntley was born February 4, 1945. Mr. Hubert (Snap) Huntley passed away September 16, 2018. He was educated in the Scotland County Public School System. At the age of nineteen, he moved to New York and drove trucks for several years. He retired in 1996 and moved to Laurel Hill, North Carolina with his mother. 

Hubert leaves to mourn and cherish his fond memories his wife, of eighteen years, Mrs. Daisy Mae Huntley; eight boys, Hubert Huntley Jr. (Dana) of Delaware, John Huntley, J.D. Huntley, Ron Southerland, and Joseph Huntley all of Brooklyn, NY, Travis Huntley of Laurel Hill; Barry Huntley and Andrew Huntley both of Georgia; two stepdaughter, Bobbie Tyson and Lillie Hogan (Cortez) both of Laurinburg; one stepson, James Tyson (Yolanda) of Mooresville. 

His sister, Bristine Blake of Laurinburg; mother-in-law, Elaine Blue of Maxton; two sisters-in-law; and four brothers-in-law.

Thirty-five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one niece; two ne[hews; and two goddaughters; two best friends J.C. McLeod and Robert (Disco) Watson both of New York; and a host of other relatives and friends.
