Brenda Ann Harris

Funeral services for Brenda Ann Harris, 62, of Wagram, will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Purcell Funeral Home, Laurinburg. Burial will follow in the McGill Cemetery, Wagram. Viewing and visitation are on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, 3:00 pm thru 5:00 pm. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home, Laurinburg.

Early Wednesday morning before the dew fell, March 27, 2019, God called Brenda Harris home. Brenda was a person who stayed to herself. She loved her family and friends. Brenda always wore a smile and had a heart of Gold. To know her was to love her.

Brenda was born in Scotland County, North Carolina November 17, 1956, to the late Richard and Channie Baldwin Harris. She attended Scotland County Schools.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her brothers, Richard Baldwin, Ronald (Shirley) Harris, and Willie A. Harris; nephews, Trell Tucker, Tomarko Tucker, Willis Tucker, and Dasmond Harris; nieces, Shaquan Harris, Kavonda Harris, Makhea Harris, and Rashea Harris; step-aunts, Emma McBryde, Ester McLeod, and Doris Love; Step-uncle, James Baldwin; best, best friends, Mae D. Lewis, Dorothy McCauley, Alfonzo and Margaret Pratt; and a host of relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. A very heartwarming special thank you to Ms. Melissa McCollum.
