Sheila Diane Monley

Sheila Diane Monley was born on September 18, 1956, to the late James and Annie Rose Monley.  She departed her life on July 12, 2017 at her home.  She was preceded in death by long-time partner, Thomas McLaughlin.

Sheila was reared in Laurinburg, North Carolina.  She attended Scotland County Public Schools.  Though not officially a member of a church, on occasion she visited with First Baptist Church in Carolina Park.  Sheila accepted Christ as her Savior in March 2017.  Sheila was a long-time employee of Waverly Mills, but was employed most recently with Quality Inn until she became ill.

She leaves to cherish her memory:  son, James Thomas McLaughlin; daughter, Dianna Michelle McLaughlin; grandson, Zachariah McLaughlin; eight sisters, Catherine (William) Bailey, Janie Buchanan, Annie Louise Harp – New York, Joyce (Wilbert) Riggin, Cynthia (Lewis) Campbell, Ravonda (Jerome) John, Lisa Lomack (Dennis) – California, and Leslie McLean – Raeford; one brother, Vernice Bernard Monley; a special niece, Wanda Monley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
