Randolph Davis

Randolph Davis, the son of the late Louis C. Davis and the late Mardell C. Davis, was born December 2, 1953 in Laurel Hill, North Carolina. He departed this life on October 31, 2017.

Randolph was a devoted member of St. Mary’s AME Zion Church where he accepted Christ at an early age.

Randolph was a graduate of Scotland High School Class of 1971 and attended Kittrell Junior College.

Randolph was a Retired Sergeant of the United States Army where he served his country for twenty years.  He was employed at RHA Health Services and Scotland County Parks and Recreation prior to the failure of his health.

Randolph was preceded in death by a daughter Monique Davis, two sisters and a brother, Angela, Janet and Anthony Davis.

Randolph was married to Darlene A. Davis for the last thirty-three years. He was a very loving father to Anthony M. Davis (Kimberly) of Fayetteville, NC, Joy R. Davis of Baton Rouge, LA, Kimberly A. Davis of Monroe, LA, Whitney J. Ellsworth of New Orleans, LA and Hysona Davis of Laurinburg, NC. Randolph was the grandfather to Quenton Davis, Roshawn Davis, Kyler Davis, Jared Davis, Kobe Ellsworth, Jaylen Perry, Kaylen Turner and Kam Ellsworth. He was the great grandfather of Kaliyah Davis, Riley Davis, Kyran Davis, Jonah Davis, and Landon Davis.

Randolph leaves to cherish: four brothers, Warren (Tamarra) Davis of Atlanta, GA, Corvin (Jakki), Vaughn (Cathy) all of Greensboro, NC and James L. Davis of Hamlet, NC; three sisters Shirley (Michael) Alford of Laurel Hill, Treva (Charles) Pettis of Fredericksburg, VA, and Karen (Mann) McNair of Marietta, GA.

Randolph leaves a mother-in-law, Betty Johnson of New Orleans, LA; three brothers-in-law and seven sisters-in-law, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
