Louvenia (Bostick) Pressley

Louvenia Bostick Pressley was born to the late Will and Nellie Miles Bostick on July 5, 1942 in Scotland County, North Carolina.  She departed this life on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Williamsburg Hospital in Kingstreet, South Carolina.

Louvenia obtained her education in the Scotland County Schools in Laurinburg, North Carolina.  Louvenia was very outgoing and well known.  Friends and family referred to her as “Lou”.  She dedicated her life to her family and friends.  She loved everyone and everyone loved her.

Louvenia was preceded in death by her daughter, Geneva Bostick, and one grandson, Meco Dorell Bostick.

To cherish her loving memories, she leaves behind:  her husband, Marion Pressley of Kingstree, SC; one daughter, Bernice Bostick White of High Point, NC; two sons, Jimmy (Lillie) Bostick of Laurinburg, NC and Danny Bostick of Laurinburg, NC; one brother, Danny (Faye) Bostick; one sister, Pearl Queen (Fred) Adams of Gibson, NC; ten grandchildren, Charmaine, Sherrod, Latrail, Uniqua, Jessica, Monique, Kaquanna, Bridgette, Mercedes, and Danny; sixteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; six nephews, five nieces and a host of relatives and friends.
