Lanell Cyntrell Leake

Life began for Lanell “Cyntrelle” Leake on May 12, 1982 in Scotland County. Lanell passed away on September 5, 2017.  He was the son of Cynthia Leake and the one who he called “Pop” Raymond Easterling.  Many knew him as Nell, the one to make you laugh and always full of jokes. He leaves with fond memories: three brothers, Raymond Leake, Maurice Bethea and Ricardo Wright; three sisters, Amanda & Jennifer Leake and Sandra Wright; great grandmother, Ora T. Leak; grandfathers, Charles Campbell and Willie Douglas; great uncle and aunt, Winslow and Joyce Douglas; two uncles, Justine and Nathan Douglas; four aunts, Evangeline Wright, Alex, Sonya and Jeanette Douglas; niece, Janiyah Walker (of the home); and a host of  aunts and uncles of the Easterling family; nieces, nephews, and cousins of the Leak, Harrington, Everett, Douglas, Kelly, and Ratcliff families; and a host of other family and friends. Candice McLean who was a close friend held a special place in his heart.
