I was so sorry to read of your loss . It is no doubt still a very painful time for the family. The Bible holds out a real hope for the future for our loved ones who have died. It promises that we can see our loved ones again. In the days to come may you continue to find comfort in God and each other. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4; John 5:28,29; Isaiah 25:8

Jeanet, whom I loved dearly was like a big sister to me and loved dearly by the Thompkins Family. She'd such a beautiful spirit &was very compassionate to all who crossed her path of life. The Thompkins Family in Washington, D.C. considered her a family member and younger members of the family called her "Granny." A name that she cherished. What I would like to especially point out that is dear to my heart, was my Ministry to help Senior Citizens and the less fortunate. Jeanet helped my ministry tremendously by gathering depends, clothing and food from folks at her apartment building or from the kitchen..unwanted items. Her motto was: I'm unable to contribute financially to the ministry, but I can donate items to make a difference in someone's life. This is what God would want me to do." Indeed, she did make a difference, which brought so much light into countless number of people lives. Her donation was highly appreciated and continued until her health failed. To date, I still receives calls for requests of much needed items and folks checking on the status of her health. Also, I will be amiss not to mentioned her excellent culinary skills, she could cook! I could go on & on about my sister's life legacy, the personal & telephone conversations, but space won't permit it. In closing, I will say.........good night Jeanet, I will see you in the morning. Weeping endures at night, but there's joy in the morning. She will be greatly missed by me &all lives that she'd touched!
