Jake Randall Jones

Deacon Jake Randall Jones took flight and went home to be with the Lord on August 27, 2017 in Hoffman, NC where he lived with his daughter and son-in-law.

Jake Randall Jones was born on May 22, 1928 to his mother, Ella Jones and father, Randall Jones of Taylortown, NC.  He was the fourth born son out of ten children.  He went to school in Fairmont, NC and later help to build Sandhills Community College and became employed with them as a custodian until he retired.  He worked there for twenty-three years.

Jake Randall Jones attended Power House of Deliverance in Addor, NC and worked faithfully as a Deacon there for many years and from there he attended church and was an active Deacon at his daughter’s ministry, Holiness Church of Promise in Addor, NC where he stayed true to helping the church, family and friends.

Jake Randal Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Rosetter Jones of fifty-four years; his daughters, Emma McLaughlin and Delores Swinnie; his grandson, Jammal Kegler; his niece, Monica Brazile; five sisters, Alice, Virginia, Beatrice, Sarah, and Maye; and three brothers, James, William, and Frank Jones.

Jake Randall Jones leaves to cherish his memory:  his son, Theodore Collins (Bernie) of Aiken, SC; his daughter, Doretha Highsmith (Quincy) of Pennsylvania; his son, Jimmy Collins (Teresa) of Lillington, NC; his daughter, Pastor Geraldine Brown (John Brown II) whom he lived with in Hoffman, NC; his son, Michael Jones of Vass, NC; a sister, Tishia Anderson of New York; eighteen grandchildren, forty-six great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
