Bessie Lee (Hills) McNeally

Bessie Lee Hills McNeally was born December 3, 1938 to the late Henry Sr. and Maggie Hills.  She departed this life on October 1, 2017 at the home of her daughter, Julia Moore, of Raeford NC.

She was employed by Moore Regional Hospital for many years as a dietician.  After suffering a back injury, she became a full time mother.

At an early age, she confessed Christ and joined Buffalo Springs Baptist Church. As an early member, she served on the usher board, choir and as a deaconess. 

She was married to the late Willis T. McNeally.

Bessie was preceded in death by her sister, Kayola Hills McGilvary and her brothers, Henry Hills Jr. and Curtis Hills Bandy.

Left to cherish her loving memories are:  her four daughters, Lendora Graham of Candor NC, Julia (Willie) Moore, Jacqueline (Gene) Patterson both of Raeford NC and Pamela  (Jay) Igbinosun of Charlotte NC; one son, Gordon McNeally of Raeford NC; seven grandchildren, Jeweldora, Lycia, Eddison, Lanita, Christopher, Nicholas and Kyra Jade; four great grandchildren,  Zachary,  Marquies, Lychantin, and NaKeelah; her niece, Annita McGilvary and nephew, Jasper McGilvary; a great niece, Niccarra McGilvary; and host of very special relatives and friends.
